Family Session Info
POSING:
Everyone does not have to be looking at the camera at the same time! Oftentimes, the best photographs turn out to be candid photographs, where the subject did not know that the shot was happening yet, or at all.
CHILDREN:
If your child naps, make sure they get in a good one before the shoot. Avoid colored foods before the shoot (this helps avoid stains on their clothing AND teeth/tongue). Make sure their hair and teeth are brushed- the cleaner you can get your little one, the nicer the pictures will turn out!
PARENTS:
Moisturize away any dry, flaky skin. Trim and shape facial hair and eyebrows. Clean up nails and cuticles.
CLOTHING:
Avoid loud, bright colors and busy patterns. Try to coordinate similar colors but don't get too hung up on making everyone match. If the clothes wrinkle easily, iron them the night before and hang them up, then try to put them on at the last possible moment before the shoot.
